Scott Lang, as portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is a former electrical engineer and ex-convict who becomes the superhero Ant-Man.
Lang gains the ability to shrink to the size of an ant and increase in strength through the use of a special suit developed by Hank Pym. Initially, Lang steals the suit, but Pym recruits him to prevent its technology from being exploited.
His first appearance in the MCU is in the film Ant-Man.
He later fights alongside the Avengers and plays a crucial role in defeating Thanos in Avengers: Endgame due to his knowledge of the quantum realm.
